Brent Family Wellbeing Centres

Brent Family Wellbeing Centres (FWCs) provide many services that can support families
from the moment parents know they are expecting, through pregnancy and birth, until their
child is 18 years old (or up to 25 for young people with additional needs). The FWCs offer a
wide range of free health, education and welfare services to families and aim to give
everyone in Brent the best possible start in life.

Centres are open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and some evenings and weekends. All
FWC contact details are available online, along with their activity timetables which are
updated termly. Families can also walk into their local FWC and speak to our Triage workers who can help them access services, as well as provide guidance and support.

Families can also find tips, advice and resources to help from when they’re expecting,
through pregnancy and birth to early toddler years on the Brent Start for Life website.

As part of Brent's Start for Life Programme, the FWCs will be expanding their opening hours from 2 November. The extended hours aim to increase accessibility to the support services offered to working families at the centres, which will be open on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 1 pm during term time
