School Meals
Our school meals are nutritionally balanced and include a range of traditional favourites as well as some exciting new options introduced to keep the menu fresh. School meals are run on a three-week rota and the menu is changed every term. You can view the menu below. Please check that you are looking at the menu for the correct week.
All children in Years 1 and 2 are provided with a free school meal whether parent/carers receive any benefits or not. This year, the Mayor of London is providing grant funding to pay for free school meals for children in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 who do not qualify for Government-funded income-related free school meals.
If parents/carers do receive benefits, it is important that you complete a free school meals application – even if you don’t want your child to receive a free meal. The school will receive extra funding for every child registered as eligible for a free school meal. This is called the ‘Pupil Premium Grant’ and supports children’s learning. Parents/carers who register and are eligible may also be entitled to food vouchers
during the school holidays. You are strongly advised to get further information and complete the application on the Brent website or speak to staff in the School Office.
If you would like your child to have a packed lunch for medical, dietary or religious reasons or if your child currently has a packed lunch and you would like them to have a school meal, please speak to staff in the School Office.
